President Message 2024

Dear NYTTA Family,

As my tenure as the President of the New York Telangana Telugu Association comes to an end, I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I reflect on this incredible journey. Serving in this role has been an honor, and I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of it.

To our generous donors, tireless volunteers, and supportive community members—your unwavering support has been the foundation of every success we’ve achieved. Together, we’ve celebrated traditions, raised awareness for vital causes, and created unforgettable memories that have strengthened our bonds as a community.

Reflecting on 2024, I am filled with pride in what we’ve accomplished together. From the engaging Face Yoga session to the joyful Bhogi Pallu for kids, from the soulful Shivaratri celebrations—where we had the privilege of hosting the Perini artists from India—to the empowering Women’s Day, this year has been a celebration of our culture and values.

Our impactful initiatives, including the Cancer Awareness Walk, Blood Drive, and Alzheimer’s Awareness sessions, along with service-oriented events in India, reminded us of the importance of compassion and service. Cultural highlights like Telangana Formation Day, Republic Day, Bonalu, Ganesh Chaturthi, and the grand Dussehra celebrations showcased our commitment to preserving and celebrating our Telugu heritage.

Programs like the Book Drive, Robotics session with Saawa, and the stunning Perini Natya Padam performances reflected our dedication to empowering future generations and fostering a deep connection with our roots. Hosting talented young artists at our events added vibrancy and inspiration, ensuring our traditions remain alive in the hearts of the next generation.

Personally, this journey has been both challenging and rewarding. Serving as the Chief Editor for our souvenir was a unique privilege, allowing me to spotlight the stories and achievements of our vibrant community. Balancing family, career, and this responsibility has taught me resilience and purpose.

I want to thank my family for their unwavering support and for being my greatest source of strength. To the NYTTA team—your dedication has been the driving force behind every milestone. And to our wonderful community—thank you for believing in us and for being an integral part of this journey.

As we look ahead to 2025, I am excited to see NYTTA continue to thrive and achieve even greater heights. Let us carry forward this spirit of togetherness, service, and celebration into the future.
